This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who it is shared with and the rights you have. It applies to micromagicsmp.com.
Who we are
Micro Magic Scalp Micropigmentation, based in Manchester, UK, is the controller of the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us by email at micromagicsmpmanchester@gmail.com, by phone on +44 7539289880, or through the contact page.
Information you give us
Consultation form: if you use the form to ask for a free consultation, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to arrange your consultation or treatment. The form is sent to us as an email through Resend, an email delivery service. We do not send you an automatic reply.
Stay in touch form: if you enter your email address in the sign-up box in the footer, we collect that address so that we can stay in touch with you. It is sent to us as an email through Resend.
A copy of each form submission is also kept in a private backup record held for us, so that no enquiry is lost if an email goes astray.
Messages sent by WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, email or phone reach us through those services, under their own privacy policies.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile and a hidden field to tell people from automated programs. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details for that purpose. It is not used for advertising.
Page-view counter and cookies
A cookie-free page-view counter run by RankShark records only the page address, the referring page or site and any campaign tag in the link. It sets no cookies. The IP address is used only momentarily to block abuse and is never stored.
This website does not use cookies for advertising. On the live website we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and from what kind of device and approximate location, and Google Ads conversion measurement to see which of our adverts lead to an enquiry, a call, a WhatsApp or email message or a visit to our Instagram page. Google may set cookies and collects information such as your IP address, which Google processes under its own privacy policy. These do not load on test or preview versions of the site. Third-party content described below may set its own cookies when it loads.
Third-party content
Our Instagram feed is shown through a Fouita embed. It loads content from Instagram when it comes into view, and Fouita and Instagram may collect information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies. The client reviews on our home page are copied from our Google Business listing and load nothing from Google.
The map on the contact page is a Google Maps embed. It loads when it comes into view or when you choose to show it, and Google may collect information such as your IP address when it does.
Where the website is hosted
This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses in order to deliver the pages and protect the site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named in this policy (Resend, Cloudflare, RankShark, Fouita, Google and Instagram, where they apply), and where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only for as long as we need them to reply to you and, if you become a client, to look after your treatment and meet our legal duties. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email micromagicsmpmanchester@gmail.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website uses personal information we will update this page and the date at the top.
